You make a great point. The Project RED team extensively debated adding the school board and the community to the wheel. Obviously parents and school board members play incredibly important roles in the success of schools. Our research did not include either of these groups so we were reluctant to include them.
The Project RED team, and I'm sure many of the members in the Project RED community(REDHub), have opinions/suggestions and resources that may be helpful in your work. I'm wondering some of your ideas for gauging the interest and support of the board. I would suggest you post specifically what you are looking for out to the whole community on your REDHub home page, as well as in the Superintendent forum.
I also read your reason for joining the site. If you would like to discuss the district implementation privately with me I am happy to do so.
