We are a district of 6000 students and 700 staff and have been successful in setting up a BYOD system district wide. We require users to electronically register (up to 2 devices) on our network and monitor and filter access via a Palo Alto next generation firewall with integrated sync with AD. We are also a piloting Google Docs as we transition from Exchange. We are looking for a Gmail archiving/filtering solution like Gaggle, ArcMail, Mailarchiva etc. Anyone have any thoughts? With so many users the price per user option can get pretty high pretty quick.

Can your district apply for eRate for this? We are not near as large a district as yours, however, we have 1500 student accounts with Gaggle that are eRated.
